Don Amolo Memorial Kids Ark is a community-based organization which support vulnerable children living with HIV and children and People Living with Sickle Cell Disease in Kakamega County. The organization was registered in 2013 (No. BTR/DSS/CBO/9356/2013).

Our Vision

To see a community in which all children have equal opportunity to the basic needs of life and rights to good education and care, where they can develop mentally, physically, spiritually and psychologically to face the future with confidence and to become upright and responsible citizens.

Our Mission

To improve the quality of life of children living with HIV and people living with Sickle Cell Disease through holistic care, quality healthcare, education, psychosocial support, and empowerment to live healthy, dignified, and fulfilling lives.

Founder

A Story Born From Community Love

Don Amolo Memorial Kids Ark(DAMKA) was born out of a desire to give back to the community and to serve God in the children's Ministry. On 24 March 2012, with no funding but with the zeal to touch children's lives, DAMKA was officially launched at the founder's late parents' home in Shikunga.
