At the heart of DAMKA’s work is compassionate, community-centered care. Each month, health and psychosocial club meetings bring warriors together for adherence counseling, mental health support, nutrition education, and peer mentorship. These meetings create a supportive space where People Living with Sickle Cell Disease (PLWSCD) and Children and Adolescent Living with HIV (CAHIV) can share experiences and receive the guidance they need to manage their condition effectively.
